On Friday, 27 September 2024, ZEN Petroleum Limited furthered its commitment to the well-being of students at Future Leaders School (FLS) in the La Kpeshie area of Accra by distributing 350 ZEN-branded water bottles. This initiative is designed to encourage proper hydration habits, helping students stay refreshed and focused throughout the school day. It also aligns with ZEN’s ongoing efforts to improve the learning environment and support the overall health of the pupils.
During the donation, Nana Akua Ayivor, Chief Operating Officer of ZEN Petroleum, emphasized ZEN’s unwavering support for FLS, highlighting its alignment with the Company’s ZEN 2 Community (Z2C) initiative, which focuses on uplifting communities through quality education and sustainable programmes.
Earlier this year, ZEN provided FLS with a school bus to facilitate the safe and efficient commute of its pupils. This gesture was part of a broader commitment to improve the school’s learning environment. In addition to the bus, ZEN has invested two million Ghana Cedis (GHS 2,000,000.00) in FLS to fund a breakfast programme for over 300 pupils and subsidise teacher salaries, aiming to attract and retain skilled educators who are pivotal to shaping the future of the children.
Future Leaders School (FLS), a non-governmental organisation, provides education to underprivileged children, helping to create opportunities for a better future. ZEN’s partnership with FLS and Akwaaba Volunteers underscores its long-term commitment to driving positive change through education and community support.
ZEN remains dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their communities by providing sustainable support to educational initiatives, empowering the next generation for a brighter future.
