Selected as a finalist, Ladybird Logistics' Female Driver Programme stood out among contenders for its transformative approach to empowering women in a traditionally male-dominated industry. The programme, created to break down gender barriers, now serves as a model of inclusivity, enhancing the livelihoods of women drivers and contributing meaningfully to Africa’s development goals.
The recognition event was a highlight of the Financial Times’ Africa Summit, bringing together African government, business, and finance leaders with global investors and industry partners.
